Exporting Custom Blender Rig with Sliders, IK, and Constraints to Unreal Engine 5 for Animation

Hi Unreal community,

I’ve created a detailed rig in Blender featuring custom sliders (e.g., closing fists, opening pilot capsule doors), IK controls for the arms, and constraints to prevent certain bones from exceeding specific values. My goal is to animate my scene directly in Unreal Engine 5 rather than importing animations from Blender.

Does UE5 support such a rig, and how can I ensure that the sliders, IK, and constraints transfer correctly? Any workflow recommendations would be a huge help!

Thanks in advance!

I would like to know also the workflow Blender to Unreal 5.5 with control rig compatible!

Although I couldn’t find a direct way to export IK setups from Blender to Unreal Engine 5, I found this video (link) that explains how to take the bones generated in Blender and create controllers for the rig inside UE5. It might not be a one-to-one transfer, but it could help set up a similar control system directly in Unreal. Let me know if you figure out a better workflow!
