You can either set a different non-glossy shader when viewing the model outside of RC to make it look similiar, or add more/higher quality photos to have a more detailed mesh. You can check how the model looks without texture in RC aswell by having the 3D window active and navigating in top panel to Scene and clicking the Solid button to view only the surface of your model.
