Hi RC team.
When exporting model from RC into Maya or ZBrush for client handover, it would be great if the orientation was kept the same as in the define ground plane suggests in RC itself.
It is incredibly frustrating having to re-orientate every time. There are 15 people in our office at work and we all agree this would be very helpful. In fact we can’t understand why it isn’t standard?
Are you able to implement this and if so when might we expect to see this feature in RC?
Many thanks
Hi bananajunky
when exporting OBJ, set it like in the screenshot.
We are preparing a solution for the rotation for export…
Thank you, looking forward to when the solution is implemented. That will be a good day.

Fixed with today’s release -> Version 1.0.2.1976 RC release
Thank you guys, thats great news. Looking forward to testing it out.
hi guys, i can’t still resolve this problem with my reality capture and zbrush workflow. my models are oriented strangely and the scales does not match up when i export from reality capture and re-import from zbrush.
Hi
are you using the maya preset on export? also are you saving the rcinfo file. Also when re-importing does the model still have the same name and is it in the same folder as the rcinfo file?
