Error when importing meshes - cannot fetch FBX payload data

Hi

I seem to be having issues when importing my mesh into my Unreal scene. So many new options are now available when importing, I’m not sure if there’s something enabled I should disable to avoid it…? But whenever I import my character mesh, I get a box appear saying ‘There were issues with the import’ and that it ‘cannot fetch FBX payload data’.

I’ve tried importing my meshes into Maya first, making sure their names are right, frozen the transforms, exported back out, and even exported them out of Maya individually, but I keep getting the same error.

Any ideas what’s causing this? Thanks.

EDIT: Also, I get this error/warning: ’ ', Unknown Renamed Assets.

Ahh. The issue seems to happen if I export all my meshes out of ZBrush into one FBX file. Can’t say I’ve ever known it to be a problem before though.
