Game is ready to submit but I’m having a hard time getting distribution provisioning and certificates/keys working in UnrealEd to do a distribution build. Has anyone done this with 4.7.2 ? If so I’d love to know if there is a step by step easy to follow complete guide including the keychain process on MAC. I have been using a dev provision with no issues installing to several devices but this last step is doing my head in.
Hi pootsz! Here is theiOS documentationthat might have some answers to your questions. I will tell you however, that we did have an urgent issue with the 4.7 release that was preventing users from completing their iOS provisioning correctly. That has been corrected in the 4.7.2 release, so if you have not done so, you should update and try again. Good luck, and let us know if you’re still having problems.
I had no problem using a development provision setup in 4.6. Moved to 4.7.2 and having issues with getting distribution sorted. It’s likely I’m doing something wrong somewhere but it would be good to know if anyone has actually created a distribution build using 4.7.2. Is the iphonepackager still supposed to be used ? It shows errors in it’s log window when starting it. I’ve tried to start fresh as a new user and generate new cert / key pair and dev provision from apple, but I can’t get that provision to work in 4.7.2 either.
Ok I have been able to do a distribution build and have submitted the app and it’s in the review process. I’m not sure at what point I actually had the correct provs and certs because even when I was able to do a distribution build only because I thought I’d just try a build for the hell of it, the provisions I imported show “No Valid Certificate Found” in red. Now waiting on the review.
