Hi all,
Today I’ve a question about “how the computers had born”.
We all know that on a PC there is an operating system.
To write an operating system, you need to code, and if you want to code, you need an editor. And editor, in fact, is a software that is already installed on an OS.
So, to create an OS, you need another OS.
How did the first operating system born?
What was the first editor and compiler?
If you don’t answer this question, I won’t sleep tonight LOL
The first computers were a load of logic gates (AND, OR, XOR). You programmed them with some levers, to calculate, they ware just logic gates to calculate. Then there came pc’s were you could put in a piece of paper with holes in it. It was your program, and the computer executed it.
Hello,
basis is electronic boolean algebra as said cube which was used first for resistors capacitors and then diode (not sure if i use the right english words ^^)
then it was used applied to set basic electronics effects which was used to create processors and the better processors and others ^^
then some basic programming codes were used like with zx 80 and then it evolved a bit (i forget commodore, amiga and atari ^^) to dos, then ms-dos (the same with ms written before and owned by bill ^^)
then began the era of the graphic os, with a starting with basic os and then launch windows which give the luck to not have to remember that you have to write cd :\ and not cd if not you’ll have to type all once again (which looks like debuggind in visual studio ^^)
…and then we began to use vr as teleporters to mentally colonize other systems after the first contact …
Sorry, i’ve been a bit long, your topic remembered me school and lots of great discovers ^^
