Thank god for this thread! Just managed to free up 57gb on my 250bg SSD

After 3 weeks, and the need to delete, due to LogLinker warnings related to Deleted Folders. Peaked at over 800,000 filesā€¦

I did not have a problem with my projects when I changed the DERIVED DATA directory in editor preferences.
First I changed it, then I opened my projects so that they would be copied to the new directories, I restarted my computer, I deleted the folders in C: I kept in recycling bin, I opened my projects and nothing happened, everything working perfectly. Greetings.
I hope I have cleared some doubt.

My 1 TB SSD that is just OS and Program Files complained that it was running low. I had a 200 GB torrent (3D modeling videos) and 468 GB Derived Data Cache. Changed the setting in Editor Preferences now though. Prepare to recompile shaders afterward though.
