DataAsset OOP is broken?

I’m not sure if this is related but it seems there is some specific cases with inheritance of Primary Data Assets.

I am working on a project where I have a fairly large inventory system including generic items, potions, weapons, armors etc… Originally, I was thinking of using DataAssets but turning them into an array structure. I don’t know exactly what is the issue, but there could be some form of limitation somewhere
