Data layers, level instances, and sequencers

I need help with solving a workflow problem.

I am using data layers to stream in level instances into the map. In those level instances there are level sequencer too with triggered events. Also, I am light baking. I should not that these level instances will not be present the whole game experience.

My problem is that I am finding that there are a few issues…

  1. Light bakes are failing in this setup
  2. Triggered events and sequencers are not working.

I can not figure out why and I am stumped. Can anyone help with this? Maybe there is a better workflow.
