I’m making an echolocation feature in UE5.4 and I’ve come across an issue. If an object is placed in front of another object that also has a custom stencil value (The different custom stencil depth values correlate to different outline colours) the colour from the object in the back bleeds through to the one in front and really ruins the effect I’m going for. This also happens through walls so if any object in the world happens to be in front of the one you are looking at it bleeds the colour.
I’ll attach a video example of what I mean, any help is appreciated and if you need any more info to help I’ll be happy to supply it, thank you!
