Let’s hope they are doing something about this - as promised…
If not, the most effective route seems to be going through socials. The more public it becomes the more it becomes a priority. At the end of the day Epic is a corporation. The reason we care about it is because it impacts our lives, the only reason they’re going to care is if it impacts theirs.
Also, no employee is hanging out here after hours, they will be on socials tho and that gives a chance of reaching people who may otherwise never see this.

Well it isnt hitting their precious feel good youtubers since they got their own tab on top. That will take it lower on their list. Plus they are probably more focussed on their next scam with the v bucks thing coming
It’s been 9 days from my initial report & more than 2 weeks that “New & Updated” is broken and the issue haven’t been adressed.
Some maps still have N&U for 10+ days.
Some maps still have N&U every 24 hours.
Some maps have NEVER been tested OR only once.
(Sadly, I am affected by this)
Is this some kind of a joke, are we being serious? This have been promissed to be looked at and there is NOTHING changing.

the only thing they have done is remove ALL new and updated tabs that were in the colab collections… that is like 120 slots, gone.
and now combat collection is being infected with the same spam-accounts that infected kpop collection’s more islands. as was warned. guess were gonna lose all these slots too?
these are maybe 2-3 people using multiple accounts, as is always the issue.
the only thing wrong is that epic is allowing these spam accounts. they are clogging every entry 10 times over with a “perfect for algorithm” map, the fact they allow multiple accounts is already an integral flaw, all their moderation is doing is just hurting honest individual account creators. this has been the case for a year+ and everyone has ignored it cause they have multiple accounts too.
again, the FUNDAMENTAL FLAW is allowing multiple accounts. there is no integrity in this space anymore. every creator that is doing well has 5+ accounts at least (and multiple personalities to boot) epic can micro manage all they want but until that is dealt with by removing the anonimity and fixing the integrity this is just them servicing our complaints with further leaky bandaids.
the worst part is this isn’t even the worst of the issues. the botting is far worse. they only care about the top 1% now and themselves, and the top 1% creators are pathetic job security experts who LOVE that there are no more openings, the gates are closed.

similar notes, but I de-branded my KPDH prop hunt, the system still THINKS it’s KPDH in a couple places, but not elsewhere? it has no tags, but under the hood in CreatorPortal it’s still got it, which is bizarre (I’m past the 60 day mark, much less 30 on original brand publish).
but ANYWAY, the weird thing is, that map has gotten snapshotted EVERY DAY since I posted that, while almost none of my other maps have gotten any. This is without being listed in Discover AT ALL (according to gg).

This and another publish haven’t made “new updates this week” even, that I can tell, which is the only thing I seem to make it into (and then at >15 so I’m buried on back pages).
I haven’t seen a “new and updated” on any of my maps in quite some time.
fix this , ecosystme ■■■■■■ up and this is destroying a lot of developerse

New and updated seems fixed but new experiences and new updates isnt, there are maps stuck there since november.
Do we really need to point out each tab one by one before a fix

Hello guys, the patch should go live in 7 days from today.
If not us, they wouldn’t ever fix it, so thank you for everyone that pushed this issue.
Sadly, the Collection N&U Rows won’t be restored, as per FNCreative on X.
Also, hopefully those fix on the 18th will include fix of other rows reported in this post.

I knew something was off with the sponsored. Spent over $100 for my map to be shown for 10 minutes and have 7 players…

its crazy, they should want impressions more valuable, their solution is to basically delete rows in order to make sponsored row more valuable, this is so short sited, i think fortnite got the ai complacency bug
they made players less valuable and started selling impressions in the same month under “paid for by developers” as some sort of reasoning
still think their manipulation of search has been far more diabolical, they did a lot of sus stuff with search the last few months.
really should stay away from sponsored till value/impressions is settled out

I feel this whole bug is caused by how they want discovery to react to people that invest in their precious sponsored row.
Every friday they ramp up and take the entire thing. Friday night it is all theirs. Nearly 3 months of this now for Kpop More Islands with Infinis in particular having 10+ in the one tab.
Again, this would be easily enforced as as you can see between the two tabs, its all the same spam accounts (I colour coordinated things for ease of moderation)

Waiting this ridicilous long in december while my account is flatlined feels like forever by now, cant believe this level of moderation still is allowed to run discovery, its below all standards
But hey atleast their favorite youtubers still have an own working tab and sponsored is still running, discusting
