This is an Nvidia driver file and does like to go crazy sometimes even in AAA titles.
Best bet use DDU competley remove your nvidia GPU drivers and reinstall the latest version.
That failing try the version before, Its definatley a driver issue but whats giving it the hiccups i dont know for sure.
