Copying project to new storage drive?

So i’ve been working on my laptop’s internal HDD and now i bought an external SSD, if i copy my project folder to the SSD and work on it there and save it, will it overwrite the copy in the SSD or HDD? Will this affect the project or break anything?

Nope, won’t hurt it. The project folders don’t know about each other and all the data in them is separate except for compiled shaders. I have the same project on different drives - one on 4.26 and the other on 4.27 compiled from source for plugin development.

iTween : Free, smooth, procedural object animation
easyCSV : Read data from any CSV and put them in an easy-to-access string map!
Runtime DataTable : Import and export game data to and from CSV or Google Sheets while your game is running!

So if i just take the project folder and source files from my SSD and plug it into another PC or laptop to continue working, it just needs to recompile shaders then it will work fine, right?

Pretty much!

Thanks for clarifying!
