Been trying with ccdik, first the ik is in the “experimental category” second i’m getting very weird behavior with it, didn’t even come close to Control rig sadly.
I’m still going hoping to find a solution and make it work. If you have any clues i’m all ears.
It’s one of those things you have to actually try and do… I’ll get some time next week and give it a shot…

Hi, I found a way to maybe solve your problem.
My first guess is FBIK. my second guess is the splineIK node.
I don’t know if it helps you, or if you have found a solution.
