Then try think about your workflow efficiency 
Have one image with the CPs already placed same way as have in the tutorial
and open in second 2D window the next image where need to place the CPs.
So can see approx where the points are already placed… so its easier to orient in it
Am I right that F3 toggles control-point lock on and off? = yes
Or is it just the same as the button in the alignment ribbon?
