I don’t see anything that should cause this issue. I have a few questions:
When you say that it freezes your system, are you having to Ctrl+Alt+Del and kill UE4 with the Task Manager or does it actually freeze your system to the point you must hard reboot your PC?
How long have you tried waiting for it to unfreeze? It could take several minutes to load on some systems. I would at least try once to give it 10-15 min.
Does the freeze also happen in other engine versions like 4.13.2?
