Constant video card crashes at 4K (AMD)

@Ixiguis Can you try the low AA scalability on DX11?

@John No I was not able to repro on a 290, but I’ll be running more tests when I run down to the compatibility lab next. The two major components for this test aren’t readily available to me at the moment (the 290 and a 4K screen), but I’m going to try without 4K on a more complex project.

I am using a regular Full HD Monitor, so no 4K. Just to be clear since I have not mentioned it above

Low AA scalability on DX11 still crashes (less than 1 minute).

By the way the crashes also happen on 1920x1080 for me, they just happen faster on 4K.

DX12 (no TXAA) hasn’t crashed yet, but I still want to try more, to be sure.

Ok, after over 10 hours running without a single crash, I think it’s safe to assume that dx12 mode doesn’t crashes!

Tested both on my computer and my brother’s, and both at 4k. Everything on Epic, except Antialiasing (on medium).

Now you just need to fix TXAA, which is not working in dx12 mode (at least not on my AMD card).

And also this one.

Thanks for the help!

Just a heads up, I’ll still be running this test when we get our hands on appropriate GPU.
