Your specs are all pretty solid, aside from your GPU. A GTX 770 or 9 series card will handle these scenes and projects pretty well. I just recently upgraded my GTX 650 Ti to a GTX 960, and see a huge difference in performance. Your RAM could also be improved to 16 GB or even 32 if you are feeling crazy!
