can you show here some print screens of the 3D view before and after alignment?
Does the setting change in the panel when the newly created component is created? - this means, if the settings in 1Ds view are the same before and after alignment.
Can you try use Prior pose as Position and not Locked (I suppose you are using drone dataset, which GPS is not so precise to use the prior pose as Locked).
