Hello, I have a clothing system and I am unclear on the skeletal meshes. Can the clothing have extra bones and work correctly, say the character is a rabbit and I chose to have her ears as clothing. The ears have all the bones of the third person character but has extra bones to control the ears. Would the engine treat these extra bones like say Daz Studio (it’s what introduced me into the wonderful world of 3D) and simply include them into current skeleton or must the clothing and skeleton have the same bones? Seems like the latter way would be inefficient. Why have all the bones in the character if they’re not being used?
