I am using the Chaos Vehicles plugin to build a tank. Therefore I have several wheels on each side of my vehicle. I now want to be able to break all left wheels or all right wheels. My idea was to use the brake for one side and the handbrake for the other side. But I cannot find a way to give an input for the regular brake.
Reverse as brake does not work as it means that the other side of wheels would stop as well. I need one side driven by the engine, the other blocking by the brake or handbrake.
Any ideas?

Did you find a way to do this using Chaos Vehicle Movement Component?
I was thinking of animating the wheels independently of CVMC, but I don’t see how to do that at the moment. The wheel animations (and the treads) all should reflect movement against the ground, not the engine torque. I am trying to solve the problem when one wheel is off the surface of the ground to keep it from spinning faster than the others. On tanks, this shouldn’t happen, because they don’t get power from the engine, they just follow the treads and the sprocket gear. But this would also solve the turning in place problem.
