Changing SpringArm length has no effect in Game?

How to go even smaller than create a blank new Pawn (class Pawn in the Blueprint Class Selector), add a springarm to the root and a Camera to this Springarm…?

Possession is just a simple Spawn Actor from Class with a Possess Node right after it… in the Placer Controller Begin Play… nothing specially modified, too…

I´m currently thinking of deleting the whole Engine and reinstall it again…

What if you auto-possess the Pawn? Probably irrelevant at this point, though. :expressionless:

I need to spawn it by myself, since the players chose their Pawn Mechanics right before Match start…

Different Pawns, with different Graphs and different mechanics…

It worked some time ago… so… i´ll give the reinstall a try…

Goddamnit… its working… UE5 is really buggy in its current State xD

Yep… no more problems… camera is now in the correct Height…

wow, i would not have expected that.

but then i don’t use bleeding edge engine versions for reasons like this.
