Chameleon Post Process

I made the HLSL modification in my environment as described above and it worked fine.

Chameleon 15.0, compatible with UE 5.5 and above, is about to be released, and here’s the changelog. We have a new effect called Screen Indicator, which I believe could be useful for many scenarios as you can imagine. The most notable thing in general is that you can now change the blendable location of the effect via Chameleon. This means you can now reorder your effects in the pipeline in a more precise way. With this ability, I also repolish all Recipes (drag’n->drop effect stacks) and add a new one.

  • New Effect: Screen Indicator
  • New recipe: CR_CustomDepthActorFeature
  • Lens effect has been renamed as Lens Distortion.
  • Now you can change the blendable location of any effect between six different moments of frame rendering.
  • New AEF field for all effects: Override Blendable Location.
  • New AEF field for all effects: Blendable Location Override.
  • Mojo Mask Deformation field has been added to Mojo effect.
  • 2D Transform Rotate default value changed to 1.0 (was 0.0).
  • Hue Panner Animated default value changed to true (was false).
  • All recipes have been updated to reflect the new changes.
  • Fix: Fixed an error in the Kuwahara effect, causing it to produce unwanted white tinting to the final image.
  • Fix: Fixed an error in the Dither effect, preventing it from being compiled in some platforms.

Hello, I’m using your Anamorphic lens flares, everything looks great in the viewer, but when rendering in the movie render queue, I get these artifacts, what should I do?

I can’t add your project files to mine, I’m working on Unreal Engine 5.4 and once I add them through Fab inside the editor, it says “Downloading” but nothing happens. I also can’t add it with the Epic Launcher because it says non compatible with 5.4.
Is it possible to have an archive .zip of the project please? That’s really urgent for me currently.

Anyway, this error is not related to Chameleon but to the launcher. Chameleon supports all engine versions (with different feature sets, added with each version).

It’s hard to tell over an image but it seems like the effect’s execution order is being changed within a movie render pipeline. May MRP setting overriding some post processing values? Reach me out via support@sumfx.net so that we can move this forward.

Distance fog works like a dome around the player. It would be better if it had empty space slightly above the player’s position. This way you can still see the sky clearly.

Weird bug in FAB store. I have the chameleon purchased but it only shows it for 4.27 and 5.1 not for my new project in 5.4.
any clue ?
