First question, did you rename the maps while in the editor or do it directly outside of the Editor? Try right clicking on your Content Directory inside of the content browser and try “Fixup Redirectors”
Then, you should be able to go back to your “Project Settings->Maps & Modes” and reset up your Default Maps.
