Edit: I have the project on drive, but I can’t figure out how to PM the link.
I posted a new thread about how to do that.
Apologies for the late response. I saw yesterday and tried to upload it to but it was too big. Imma go with drive. I’ll PM a link to it.
If you can build it for Android no problem, I guess that’d mean my Android SDK setup and or its associations with VS2015/2013 are bad.
A while ago you told me to see if the issue still occurred on a new project.
At that time it did. I couldn’t package or launch the project for windows or Android. I tried it with and without the plugin and it occurred either way. (I disabled the plugin by deleting the plugins folder containing it in the projects main directory, and verifying that it wasn’t checked in the Editor > Edit > Plugins dropdown. I also tried adding a new C++ class as referenced in that link you posted, but that didn’t work.)
makes me think the android sdk setup isn’t correct.
If you search for on the forums, you can paste the link there.
Once you’ve upgraded to 4.12, you no longer need to use AndroidWorks - you’ll need CodeWorks. You’ll also need to make sure you’ve updated from Visual Studio 2013 to Visual Studio 2015.
Please make sure you do not have the Modo Material Plugin enabled when you’re packaging.
Thank you!
“If you search for on the forums, you can paste the link there.”
Cool thanks. I’ll try to do it in the forums.
Edit: I sent a PM with the link in the “forums”.
“Once you’ve upgraded to 4.12, you no longer need to use AndroidWorks - you’ll need CodeWorks. You’ll also need to make sure you’ve updated from Visual Studio 2013 to Visual Studio 2015.”
I understand that Codeworks and VS 2015 are the thing now. I have both of them currently installed on my work and home machine. However, my work PC still has VS2013 installed. Though I uninstalled Android Works from it (via Windows’s Remove Programs), there are likely remnants that have not been purged.
“Please make sure you do not have the Modo Material Plugin enabled when you’re packaging.”
I’ve never installed a modo material Plugin willingly. Actually, is the first time I’ve heard of it.
As it stands, whenever I double-click on an .sln (i.e. my_ue4project.sln), VS2015 launches.
Thank you for your time!
So, when I open your project on my computer, it asks me to rebuild - which is fine. However, every time I rebuild, it says it’s not able to and I have to do it manually. When I go into the sln file, it doesn’t allow me to actually rebuild your project.
Can you please zip your project up and provide it to me once again? Perhaps something was corrupted when it was uploaded.
Thank you!
I sincerely apologize for having wasted your time.
I’ll try it again and PM the link.
Thanks for sending me a working version of your project. So I believe I’ve figured out what’s causing all of the trouble. You had support ARM64 in, which is currently causing trouble with Android builds.
I was able to successfully package for Android Multi, HTML5 and Windows 64. Please turn that off on your side and let me know if the issue is resolved.
Thanks!
Thanks a lot for checking out.
I thought it got farther than it usually had, but unfortunately it’s still failing.
All I did was uncheck ARM64.
I’ve made some other changes to blueprints, but only to the logic.
All other platform settings remain unchanged from the version you have/had.
Here’s the [log][1].

Kuso,
We like to keep the questions associated to the original problem. If you post a new thread, I’ll assign myself and look into the error. It’s definitely not the same and related to something you may have changed or added.
Thank you!
