Thanks for the reply, I can create another project tomorrow after I get my laptop and see if it is doing the same thing because I created another as mentioned above and I deleted it because it was showing the same issue. I keep it at work so I can work on my project at lunch. My current project is 21 gig so that would take about a week to upload for my internet.
As far as reproductive steps I simply start a new FPS project and all the sample content. I store the project on my external USB 3.1 drive. I believe the last one I created was stored in the default directory since the USB drive was not hooked in up (Still didn’t work). When the project opens I open up the FirstPersonCharacter Blueprint and try to drag any of the default variables in the “MyBlueprint” tab into the blueprint. When the cursor goes over the variable it does not highlight in gray and when you click on the variable it will not get the orange highlight as if it is not responsive to the mouse. The same goes for the “+” button for adding a variable. I can right click in the blueprint and “get” and “set” a specific variable but the only way to create one is to drag off of another and “promote to variable”.
I updated my windows 10 since this post was originally made and that didn’t help either. Though, as mentioned above, it still works perfectly fine if opened on my desktop computer so I am wondering if something needs reinstalled.
