I have always wondered if there even possible to creat a massive world like world of Warcraft in ue 5. And how you do it with so many different layers and make it playable with good grafic.
I am creating worlds myself. But never even close to size of world of Warcraft. How can I do that?
Like night Wolf said level streaming is your answer Blizzards uses super low poly models and simple materials to keep gpu/cpu costs low in their environments
You could also look into Data Layers, that would likely help as well, but if there is a way to skip loading a data layer rest assured the players will find it eventually
