Bug 3974: Holes in texture

Hi.

 

I’m having this issue with holes appearing after simplification.

I simplified from 900M to 40M (no holes here), then cleaned the mesh in an external software (apparently one “who must not be named”…) and re-imported the model.

Back in RC I simplify again to 1M (tested both old and new algo) and I get several holes.

Interesting thing is that the same mesh decimated in other software (“who must not be named”) to 1M produces no holes at all, so I guess there must some kind of bug in the simplification.
