BreakHitResult Branching (Interactive Crosshair)

Sorry, my bad. Had a bit more time to look at this. It doesn’t work because even though the widget is remove, it still exist and the variable is valid.

Visibility works much better. Put this on begin play:

Then you can swap on tick with:

Where does your last “add to viewport” is plugged ?

Also, it’s not an event tick

Rest of first picture just continues into the all that first person character stuff. Not relevant.

The stuff on the left of the second picture is what you already have on event tick. It’s the line trace code…

I’m just showing you how to connect it. I have tried this, it works. :wink:

But I don’t have Event Tick aha
I used the input axis for that.
Anyway, I tried but it still doesn’t work, I’ll take another look, I might be wrong somewhere

I forgot to remove the HUD I did previously.
So, It work, the Use crosshair appear and disappear but, the normal crosshair don’t appear at all ^^’
I’m trying to see what I can do, I’ll come back to you if I didn’t found

I searched but can’t find the problem, everything work but the normal crosshair never appear …

If you want to pack a minimal setup into a small project, I can download it and take a look. But apart from that I’m stuck I’m afraid…

So you just make a small project with it in, zip up the folder, and upload it to somewhere like google drive. Then give me a download link :slight_smile:
