:blue_book: Docs & Setup Guide:

:bullseye: Ever lost track of what’s “done” vs “needs fixing” in your project?

Whether you’re a solo dev, a small team, or a studio pipeline lead — the mess creeps in:

  • “Wait… did I fix the LOD on that rock?”
  • “Did QA check this mesh?”
  • “Was this the real final version… or FINAL_FINAL_V3?”

:brain: Asset Optics is a native Unreal Engine plugin + web dashboard that gives you a clear, synced, per-asset view of:

  • :bookmark: Checklists (e.g. “needs collision,” “send to QA”)
  • :speech_balloon: Comments (leave notes or task reminders)
  • :brain: Coming Soon: AI-powered tagging + review suggestions

:sparkles: Why It Matters

:white_check_mark: Stay focused — track fixes, reviews, and tasks per asset
:white_check_mark: Stop redoing work — no more duplicate passes or forgotten changes
:white_check_mark: Sync to web — check asset status from your browser or phone
:white_check_mark: Perfect for solo devs who wear 5 hats and forget which one’s on

:puzzle_piece: Works Across Use Cases

What I loved about it was the option to create new projects and the feature to add comments to specific assets while going through a YouTube video tutorial without even opening Unreal engine.
Ofcourse, that means I have to first “sync” those assets to the web app and then I can work on them..
Also the AI Insights feature seems promising, although it shows Coming soon to me? Looks like a premium feature @WonderWoman ?

Exactly , also have you explored the exclude filter option ? I was able to remove so much clutter .

Wow — that means a ton to us! :raising_hands:
We built Asset Optics Asset Optics – Next-Gen Asset Management | Fab specifically to solve the kind of daily friction you’re describing, so hearing it’s boosting your efficiency by 60% after just two days is incredibly validating.

The sync was a labor of love — glad to hear it’s working smoothly for you!
And if you ever want to share how you’re structuring your checklists or managing shots/tasks across your assets, we’d love to highlight it (with your permission, of course).

Thanks again for the kind words — keep crushing those projects like a pro! :flexed_biceps::clapper_board:

If you ever want to share how you’re using it in your project (even just a screenshot or setup), we’d love to feature it in a future showcase or tips post — crediting you of course. :eyes:

And as always, if you run into ideas, feature requests, or little friction points, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re building this with the community.
