After a long break due to personal reasons, I am back with an original personal project:
“Blooms Of Arachnis”
So excited that I was able to write, create and direct 5 minutes of AAA quality cinematic for Kitbash3D challenge in 3 months time while juggling a 9-5 job. Makes me so proud that out of the 10,000 artists who participated, we were one of the top 10 finalists.
I couldn’t have done this without the collaborative effort of the artists who decided to give their personal time to turn this world into reality. A MASSIVE THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who contributed, you can check the team out in the Youtube description, I have tagged most of the folks. :slight_smile:

I hope I get the time + support from all of you guys to make the whole 25 minute long short that goes deeper into the post apocalyptic medieval world with 500 years of rich lore. Subscribe on my Youtube to follow along and see the breakdowns of how I created all of this in such a short time span. I’m planning on releasing a lot of the workarounds, tips and tricks that I learned doing this so I would love if you guys would join me in this journey! :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

Would love to know your thoughts, how you felt it, what you liked/disliked. Open to constructive criticism as well since eventually I would be making the full short if I could find ways to fund this endeavor.

This looked just incredible. Every element from the visuals to the storytelling elements just blew me away. Mainly, the facial animation and emotion you managed to convey. :smiley: The horror elements, as well, made an impact. Every creepy eerie thing only added to the “vibe”. I just wanted more!

Do you have any plans to create more projects like this or are you taking a (well deserved!) break after this one?

So happy you liked it! It really makes me happy that some of the story and emotion came through even though I feel like it could have been better. But that is the story of my life lol. There is a much larger script written for it, just need to find ways to fund it through epic megagrants or something. But I don’t even know if stuff like this qualifies for it.

Regardless, I definitely want to make the whole 25 minute short film which shows the rich history of what exactly happened in this world. Thank you again for taking the time out to watch and for the kind words! Will post breakdowns soon.
