I made a very simple model in Blender. Its a robotic arm like one might find on an assembly line. It is rigged and animated and works great in Blender. The animation is only a few rotation keyframes to make the arm wave.
But when this gets import into Unreal, the bones have additional motion added to them. Instead of just rotating their location is moved to some extreme value.
I’ve attempted every combination of export settings with no success. I’m a programmer, not an artist, and this is really messing with me after using other engines that handle this without any fuss. Surely I managed to miss something obvious, but I can’t fathom what.
