You want 0x10 and 0x20 or 16 and 32
Easy mistake to make 
One thought in my mind: Viewing the values in a debugger Watch window, would probably have told me what was going on in this case. I highly recommend running any new code in a debugger, and stepping through it, to verify it does what you expect.
