There only a few tasks for the second stage of development.

We are not completely sure what type of material would be published for community, but at the least it`ll be a gameplay video.
Meantime we want to please you with some materials from other areas.

Not long ago we published post in which we discussed with you the visual image of the future menu. At that time, we began to work on it. We`ve done with it quick and you can see the results.

We are thinking on two variants. We`ll polish up the chosen one. The difference between the variants is the camera position. Which do you think is better to use?

We are going to make a gameplay video soon. But here are some new locations.

Here are two new videos of our game. First one is a walk through one of the locations and the second is menu scene new version. Recently we started adding some sound assets, so please comment on the quality.

P.S. It is russian language in the menu and in character phrase. There will be English and Russian.

Hey, everybody!

We’ve been pretty silent for a long time, it was not because we had nothing to say, we were just very busy working on the project.

Starting today we will provide much more information : we will tell you about project news, show art and screenshots plus some gameplay videos from current builds, moreover we are making streams every friday on twitch.

For those of you who are here for the first time we would like to introduce our project once again.

We are making an Unreal Engine 4 game called O.W.S.P. ( Open World Survival Project is an internal name). The title will change closer to release.


So, what is O.W.S.P?

  • Survival ina big open world in original universe.
  • Up to 14 players on one server.
  • Dynamic world, with many global and local events.
  • A lot of lore objects to tell the stiory of the world and help players understand its rules faster.
  • Focus on horror elements to make the world more exciting and dangerous for new and veteran players.
  • Unreal Engine 4 creates a wonderful image to survive in.


More than 1000 models already made.

Our artist finished several concept arts for buildings. They will be used by our 3d-artists and soon we’ll be able to show you the models.

Also we have prepared first version of a F.A.Q. about our game.

— What is the genre of the game?
— Survival horror with an open world and story elements(quests, events, etc).

— Another survival?
— Survival is important in our game but we have shifted our focus to horror part of the game. Also it is a game about exploraion and lore.

— What engine do you use?
— Unreal Engine 4.

— Why UE4?
— We can do everything we need with it.A lot of expirience with the technology.

— Is it Earth?
— No it is not. It is planet Eilot. Game world is an independent territory without any connection to our real world.

— OK, but the player is human?
— Yes, we play as a human.

— It is pretty dark on most screenshots. Will it always be dark?
— No. We have a day/night cycle. But it will be darker then a normal day and there will be no sunny weather.

— Where do you get the assets?
— We do everything ourselves.

— I want to take part in your project. How do i get in?
— At this moment we have a full team. If we need new specialists we will post everywhere about it.

Whoa! I really like the style of the monsters, they’re so unique. The world looks really interesting and stylized in a way that keeps realism intact. The screenshots of the dank and musty areas kind of remind me of the Call of Cthulhu game. Can’t wait to see more :smiley:

Some concepts for character customisation:

We’ve received comments about our trees and decided to make some new variants of the flora as fauna getting new items too.

Our development has streched over a long period already and we need to update some of the models. This will take some time, but everything should look as good as we can, considering the time and team size we have.

Long ago we had a blind bulky enemy now he is reborn with this wonderful outfit:
