/Best size for a height map?

It depends on your game ^^

I think the heightmap size is 8000x8000, but I’m not 100% sure. Depending on your game you can choose between different sizes. Make sure to use one of those:

4033x4033
2017x2017
1009x1009
509x509
505x505
255x255
253x253
127x127
64x64

Hm if its 8k then it would be 8129… Ok time to get busy breaking the height map up

On a side note… god i would hate to be doing a 100sqkmx100sqkm map… so many little tiles
