You’re welcome to try to downgrade it yourself, however it’s expected there’ll be some API changes you’ll have to refactor. I don’t have a detailed overview of the exact changes needed yet, but I’ll look into it if I have some extra time.
The materials will have to be rebuilt from scratch (create new materials in 4.27 then create the same node structure manually).
