That is an interesting strategy. But it is only something I would dare tinker with once I was somewhat satisfied with the enemy movement behavior. Things like that would surely add a layer of random complexity overall that would or should add a lot overall. I wonder if mini bosses in BEUs were ever programmed for that? They seemed to have more than a few ways for a guaranteed strike and take players out and get them to keep feeding quarters in.
