BEAT EM UP GAME - How do you think the enemy characters should move in relation to the player?

Yw. I’m trying to find where I posted my settings.

This has some info - how to enable nudge enemies. (And I think this was 1 of 2 settings I had to do to reduce extreme physics launch.)

The 2nd part of the settings to reduce extreme physics launch:

  • Character Movement component > “Depenetration” [and I changed other settings in the Movement component. I’ll need to open my project to check.]

There is also a paid asset that has the Player push AI, AI push AI. I don’t remember it if fixed the extreme physics as well.

Again, the main problem is Epic’s default physics settings, which are extreme or have weird default values (like 750000 instead of 100 or 1000). And I havent seen anyone post what exactly each value does, and which is most significant to make physics react how we think they should, according to a mass of 100.
But I believe “Depenetration” was one of the significant variables.
