I work with Epic Games on this solution from Microsoft, and will see what we can do to work your VNet selection for VMSS’ into the backlog. As some general details, the _artifactsLocationSasToken in Azure Marketplace solutions points to a zip file which has things like Custom Script Extensions that run when deploying a solution. We can also work with Epic Games to see about options of making this easier to customize in the future from an ARM template deployment.
