are shaders and materials the same thing?

still a bit confusing (was watching the videos), well, not confusing

The materials, do they sort of act like textures? Because he just dragged and dropped grass material
Or, is the grass texture sort of implanted into the material?

Sorry, just so used to seeing people selling and making textures, the whole material thing is new to me

Never mind, I just saw the video called “Adding Textures to Materials” so I guess that answers that, textures are implanted into these Materials

Is there any tutorial or documentation that helps to translate unity shaders into unreal?
