Hi lubenko,
thanks, I already saw that.
I was just wondering if there were any other reasons.
To be honest, I find your licencing policy a bit complicated.
I know this is a matter of personal preference, but prefer it immensely if I can buy a program and then handle everything locally, without having to worry about basically losing the program for (worst case) almost a year when my hardware needs to change.
I don’t know about others, but to me it seems quite unpractical to have to uninstall the program before being able to install and then activate it on another machine. That may work in the case one buys a new machine but is night impossible if you want anything approaching the flexibility of a floating licence.
Are you going to change that in the future?
Alternatively, have you considered to offer shorter time periods for your full licence?
It is also made this way because of security reasons - mostly regarding software piracy. We are considering floating licenses. Please forward your wishes to this part of the forum: viewforum.php?f=7. Please use the search option before starting a new topic.
