Your account level is just your level from each season added together. Which means that in total across however many seasons of fortnite you played you have earned a total of 849 levels.
Earning levels doesnt have any function aside from bragging rights. With the only exception being some stuff like tournaments require something like a minimum of lvl50 to prevent fake accounts from playing tournaments
