Let’s face it: the vast majority of your commercial users would most likely be impoverished indie (or indie wannabe) developers such as myself. It’s rather implausible to be believe that any serious AAA project with a $50-100 million budget won’t spend some of that money on making their own music or purchasing custom tracks from established commercial composers. Not to imply that your music is bad or anything, but it’s just how AAA companies usually do these things nowadays. I released a lot of my stuff (textures and models; some are rather good) to CC0 a few years ago, and I’ve yet to see any serious developer using any of them in their project. So if you’re anything like me, the only thing you have to fear is fear itself, hehe.
Completely agree. Although I have plenty of musicians I can use, I prefer to utilize their work when production is further along. Offers like these make my life impossibly easy allowing me to have music that fits my needs early in production.
Question though. when using your music for lets say, a trailer, will I need to supply a credit to your name and website? Just curious to see if you have a specific credit in mind if this is the case.
I’ve listened the actual sci-fi and techno tracks and I must say, they’re great !
Your library is very wide, diverse which is really awesome
The only thing that I found disappointing is that all tracks are in MP3 format instead of WAV, APE or FLAC format.
If you collaborate with other music creator who actually create music tracks for Unreal Tournament 4, your combine talents would be really awesome for the community. For example you can hear excellent music tracks from Archer, Jo.7 and MaxCarnage. Those individuals invest hours of work for making excellent free music tracks for the upcoming free UT4.
But, a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge THX for sharing your tracks !
I have to post them as MP3 files due to file size limitations set forth by my web hosting company. The original files are all WAVs. If you need something converted, feel free to send me an email and I’ll see what I can do. (My email address is at the bottom of my homepage.)
In the meantime…
