3d modeling software quality

Yet whenever look at artwork created in Blender (especially organic meshes such as people), they always look pretty low poly and not very good. I’m wondering why this is if people claim Blender can produce same quality models as other tools such as 3DS Max?

No barrier to entry. There are plenty of examples of high quality work created in Blender as well
