I have been playing around with UMG on 4.13 today, and I hit this problem where if my image was on a canvas everything went fine, but if it is the only component (attatched to [UMGclassname]), when trying to select in Appearance > Brush > Image, it pops up with a save as window, in turn allowing me to not select the image. Sorry if this is not a bug, it’s been posted or something like that, I could personally not find any other reports + this is my first time reporting a bug, so I have no clue on how to do it :P!

It sounds like you are trying to create a new texture and apply that to the image. If this is the case, this is working as intended. If you would like to simply apply an existing texture/material you would be able to do so by selecting it from the drop down list provided. I hope that this information helps.

Sorry I think you misunderstood, when I tried to select the new image, by opening the dropdown, it asked me to save a blank media texture. So I am wanting to select a new image, but I can’t due to unreal popping up with the save-as.

Sorry for the late reply, but if it helps I bypassed this issue myself by dragging an image from the content browser into the texture field
