UE4 Deletes animations on reboot

Hello,

My name is Christopher. Recently, while I was working on a project, I imported some FBX animations. However, after ** saving ** the whole project, and reopened it, the animations where gone, completely, causing errors to Blueprints and stuff. The weird thing is that this did not happened with other animations, but only with the last ones I have imported. Could you please help me, and tell me what is happening?

Hi Christof,

What version of 4.12 are you working in? We had an issue that was fixed in 4.12.4 (UE-32283) where animation sequences were not being marked as dirty on import. The workaround was to manually select them after importing, right click, and select save.

Oh, I am using UE 4.12.3 . So, if I understand, I must save those FBX animations, separately from the other files, and not just press the “Save All” button.

That’s correct, but if you upgrade past 4.12.4, you should be able to use “Save All”.
