2D viewports are all showing same image and cycle in sync - how to fix?

Hello!

Just opened a project I’d been working on in RealityScan and attempted to use the “Add Control Points” tool. When I’ve done this recently on another project I’d put one photo in one 2D viewport and another photo in another 2D viewport and place control points on corresponding locations in each photo.

Here’s the problem: RealityScan is suddenly making it so that any photo I drag into any 2D viewport is opened in all viewports. And if I use they arrow key to cycle through photos they all cycle in sync. Making it impossible to add control points while looking at different photos for comparison.

Thought it might have been this new file so I opened an older one and it had the same problem. Thought I might have hit the wrong hotkey so I tried resetting RealityScan’s preferences but that didn’t help either.

Has this happened to you? Is it a bug in a recent update? Is this a setting I can undo?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello @NightcrawlerPDX
It looks like you have set the same color cursor for different views. You will need to change it to different colors.

That seemed to do the trick, thanks!

Oddly enough, it took some time before I could get back to it and try it again and in that time the viewports had gone from apparently being the same color cursors to having different cursors. I couldn’t make that happen even resetting the preferences, and here it seems to fixed itself now. Was there some small update to RealityScan in the meantime?

Anyway I really appreciate the answer, thanks again!

No, there wasn’t any update for RealityScan meantime. Basically, it’s been a long time since this functionality was last modified.
But I am glad it works for you now.
