2 Bone Hand IK only works properly when stationary. 4.26

I have a 2 Bone IK setup to make a character’s hands follow the rotation of a steering wheel.
When the vehicle is stationary, it works just fine. When the vehicle starts to move, the hands move backwards off the wheel. The faster the vehicle moves, the more the hands move backwards.
When the vehicle slows down, the hands start to return to their positions on the wheel.
It’s as if the socket transforms are not updating quick enough for the speed of the vehicle.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Seems to be a tick synchronization issue.
If I set the vehicle’s tick group to ‘Post Update Work’ everything syncs up as it should.
