Machine uses 60GB memory and then crashes when importing a 3GB .obj from Reality Capture into a new, empty project?

Worked fine in the past with photogrammetry models from Dronedeploy but I can't get my Reality Capture exports to work with Twinmotion (or perhaps its something about the Twinmotion updates?). Every time both physical and virtual RAM fill up and soon after that Twinmotion crashes. 2022.2.3 did usually report an UE crash, 2023.1.0 just closes without any report. Tried to open it from an external HDD and the C drive, an internal SSD. Twinmotion is installed on C. Do you have any idea what I could try?

Reduced the 600m tri model to 30m tri and 3GB in size, still no luck...

Transformation preset: Unreal
