Twinmotion and Unreal

Ge Force RTX 4090 or RTX 6000 ADA?

AMD Risen Threadripper PRO 5000 (16 core ) or INTEL ?

Considering you’re willing to spend 3-4x more (right?!) on a slower GPU, you must be after the 48GB of vRAM or some uncanny features - what are they, and how are you going to take advantage of them in the UE ecosystem? Hard to justify the choice when all you say is Twinmotion and Unreal…

AMD Risen Threadripper PRO 5000 (16 core ) or INTEL ?

Again, it’s a strange way of comparing things, sounds as if you were throwing money at a problem that does not exist. You’d choose this particular Threadripper (5955WX btw) if you needed RAM support. If you must have more than 128GB of quad/oct channel, that’d make sense. Again, the generic Twinmotion and Unreal statement makes none. Why not go for Ryzen9 7950x (3d if you must) which is cheaper and much faster.

What do you need from RTX 6000 + Threadripper / Xeon specifically? Because you’re clearly not after performance.

My 2¢:

Pair: GeForce RTX 4090 with either Ryzen 9 7950x (ideally, not the 3d one) or Intel 13900K. You’ve now saved $5k which you can spend on some cool gadgets - like a great PSU that does not burn it all. Get 128GB RAM, don’t get super fast OC XMP memory - you’ll be unable to run 4 sticks, unless you get a $1000+ mobo and get lucky.

Or, or, if you can wait, wait for the Intel 14th gen refresh. It is around the corner, months away - Q3/Q4 2023.
